LESSONS
OUR LESSON PROGRAM
Iron Horse has a well established English riding program open to all, including those just starting out. Our goal is to create a safe and fun atmosphere for our riders to learn in. Iron Horse coaches are experienced and knowledgeable and can help you to become a successful rider, whether your goal is pleasure riding or competition. Our quality school horses are well behaved and reliable.

We also host in-house schooling shows, a great way for our riders to test their ability and set goals in a low pressure environment! Our lessons are now offered in seasonal sessions. Please have a look at the schedule below.

Please note the following requirements for new riders: an ASTM approved helmet. We suggest riders purchasing their own helmet for a secure, safe fit. Also, riders are recommended to wear long pants, along with weather-appropriate clothing suited to allow movement. Riders will need a boot with a 1" heel to secure their foot in the stirrups and those with long hair should wear it tied back in a ponytail or hairnet.

If you have questions about the Beginning Riders Program, riding attire or equipment, please do not hesitate to ask!
