OUR LESSON PROGRAM

Iron Horse has a well established English riding program open to all, including those just starting out. Our goal is to create a safe and fun atmosphere for our riders to learn in. Iron Horse coaches are experienced and knowledgeable and can help you to become a successful rider, whether your goal is pleasure riding or competition. Our quality school horses are well behaved and reliable.

We also host in-house schooling shows, a great way for our riders to test their ability and set goals in a low pressure environment! Our lessons are booked individually or by month (no make-ups for missed sessions).

Please note the following requirements for new riders: an ASTM approved helmet. We suggest riders purchasing their own helmet for a secure, safe fit. Also, riders are recommended to wear long pants, along with weather-appropriate clothing suited to allow movement. Riders will need a boot with a 1" heel to secure their foot in the stirrups and those with long hair should wear it tied back in a ponytail or hairnet.

FEE PAYMENTS:

Lesson payments should be made in full and can be sent by e-transfer to ironhorse.payments@gmail.com.

Group Lessons $60 +HST

Semi Privates $70 +HST

Private Lessons $80 +HST

MAKE UP POLICY AND CANCELLATIONS:

We have a no make-up policy. In the event your coach cancels a lesson, a make-up class will be scheduled.

PARTBOARD & QUARTERBOARD

This unique opportunity allows you the chance to experience having your own horse.

Guarantees the same horse/ pony to ride, love and enjoy.

Partboard $300 +HST/ month (2 practice rides a week)

Quarterboard $200 +HST/ month (1 practice ride a week)

*Must take a riding lesson (group/private) throughout either part/quarter board options.
